CRS-33
Na konferencii po misii Crew-9 zaznela zaujimava informacia:

Misia CRS-33 ponesie "boost trunk"
The mission will fly with a "boost trunk" that can perform re-boosts of the ISS over a period of several months.
There is a particular SpaceX cargo flight, CRS-33, that has the ability to do some re-boosts for the space station and that needs to fly in than late August/early September timeframe, so we moved the handover up. The boost trunk, as we call it, will be there for a large part of the fall timeframe.
Dalsie zdroje: NSF Forum: Predstartovna konferencia k CRS-32
20:00: Confirmed that tanks and thrusters will be inside the trunk, launch date in "late Summer" and the Dragon will stay at the ISS for a longer duration than normal to test ISS reboost.
25:00: CRS-33 will a launch a "few weeks" after Crew-10 has departed after the docking port has become available.
Zhrnutie:
- CRS-33 ponesie "boost trunk"
- ten bude podla NASA obsahovat dodatocne nadrze a trysky Draco (info o mnozstve paliva ani pocet trysiek som nenasiel)
- Dragon zostane k ISS pripojeny o nieco dlhsie ako je standart
- bude sa testovat uprava drahy ISS pomocou "boost trunku"
- overenie moznosti korekcii drahy pomocou Dragonu s "boost trunkom"
- upravy drahy pomocou Dragonu sa uz testovali, ale kvoli sklonu manevrovacich trysiek je toto neefektivne
- vysledky testov budu pouzite aj pri vyvoji U.S. Deorbit Vehicle od SpaceX
