Informací o znovudobytí Měsíce bylo v poslední době více. Tady je další, ale konečně s trochou informací.

Společnost Golden Spike Company (Colorado) byla nedávno založena skupinou vysoce postavených lidí v leteckém průmyslu a skupinou zahraničních investorů s velice slušným rozpočtem.
S. Alan Stern (bývalý vědecký šéf NASA) je momentálně zástupce/ zprostředkovatel této společnosti. Oznámení chce tato společnost provést v prosinci tohoto roku.Podle prozatím dostupných informací nebude použita žádná současná ani připravovaná technika ( raketa,loď, horní stupeň), ale rozjedou kompletně novou lunární kampaň. První informace hovoří o použití základního nosiče na LEO, kde by mělo dojít ke "složení" kompletní sestavy. Existují přímé odkazy, že by mělo být použito palivové depo a technologie přenosu paliva? (pokud máte nějaké informace, tak prosím klidně doplňte). Celý koncept by rostl podle toho, jak by se s postupem času měnily nároky(doba pobytu a nafukovací moduly). Zmíňka o tomto oznámení se objevila na shromáždění s názvem “Independent Human Moon Mission: Prospects Emerging From Rising Tide of 21st Century Exploration” konané v květnu na Havaji.

Internetovou doménu goldenspikecompany.com má registrovanou Doug Griffin, což je právník, který se pohybuje v oblasti práva komerčního dobývání vesmíru.





Hickam pracoval jako inženýr při navrhování kosmických lodí a výcviku posádek. Jeho hlavní zaměření bylo připravit astronauty na EVA. Trénoval astronauty pro mise Spacelab a Space Shuttle, mimojíné i pro první dvě opravy Hubbleova vesmírného dalekohledu. Skončil v roce 1998 a jeho poslední pozice byla Payload Training Manager pro ISS.

Wayne Hale - letový ředitel pro Space Shuttle program a NASA's Deputy Associate Administrator for Strategic Partnerships. Skončil v roce 2010.

Jerry Griffin - letový ředitel Apollo 12, Apollo 15, Apollo 17, a hrál důležitou roli při záchraně Apolla 13.

Alan Stern - pracoval na 24 různých misích, mimo jíné STS-85 v roce1997 and STS-93 v 1999.

Ještě jsem zapomněl jeden důležitý údaj ..chtějí to stihnou do roku 2020. A pojem zahraniční investoři je možná zavádějící, jelikož termín foreign corporation in Colorado, může taky znamenat jiný stát, ale v stále v rámci USA.

Musím poopravit nesmyslnou informaci v prvním příspěvku, které jsem si všiml až teď.
Místo " nebude použita žádná současná ani připravovaná technika", má samozřejmě být- bude použita současná nebo připravovaná

Takže pokud jsou informace, které se objevují pravdivé (nasaspceflight L2, což je placená sekce), tak společnost Golden Spike Company podepsala dohodu za 120 millionů $ na Falcon Heavy rocket. A celkový rozpočet za expedici do roku 2020 jsou 2 biliony $.

Ty částky jsou z anglického textu, takže teď si nejsem jist, jak se tam ty nuly mění

Těžko říct. Kdyby tohle plánovala NASA, tak by to klidně mohly být ty 2 biliony dolarů .
Jestli chtějí udělat jen jeden let, tak by ten rozpočet 2 miliardy dolarů mohl stačit.

Q. How could you possibly make any money at 7.5 billion with the first flight and then down to $1.5 billion? You would still be in the read at $1.5 billion? There seems to be no financial reality to this plan.

Stern: We’ve been over this very carefully. You only know what our prices are, not what our costs are. You have ignored the entire media stream: advertising, naming rights, etc. Naming rights for the Denver Broncos stadium sold for $120 million. A lot of merchandising. A very important part of the business. This can be a money-making business if we sell enough expeditions. If we sell only 3 or 4 missions, it’s underwater. But, 15 to 25 nations are interested in doing expeditions.

Q: Who are the backers and how much have you raised?

Stern: Will not go into that yet. Boeing doesn’t ask billionaires to back new airplane. They go out and get enough orders they then go to the bank and get financing to start the project. We follow the same approach.

Q: Why would nations that do space for prestige come to Golden Spike?

Stern: We can make it affordable to mid-sized companies — South Korea or South Africa, Malaysia, etc. Most countries don’t build their own airplanes, they go to Boeing or Airbus.

Q. Smaller ventures like Google Lunar X Prize teams have struggled to raise tens of millions for robotic missions. Why would it be easier to raise hundreds of millions for human missions?
